Product Description
PRODUCT BRIEF:
Varnish Cambric tape is produced by impregnation of fine quality Electrical grade Cotton with Glyptal Varnish other insulating grade oil. This tape is strong and flexible and dimensionally stable. Varnished Cambric tape is available in both straight and Bias weave.
Bias Varnished Cambric tapes have adequate extensibility. In order to achieve a winding which is free from piping a considerable winding pull is require which brings with it the danger of over stretching and consequently a severe drop in electric strength through cracking of Insulating Properties therefore bias weave tapes are used to avoid cracking.
